Growth Gems vs Coatings
Growth Gems (Small, Large, Super, Devil's) are timed regen multipliers and are consumed on use. Coatings (Rust, Frost, Crystal, Void, Alien, Galaxy) lock a specific mutation onto one ore. The Ore Cleanser ($1M) strips a mutation so you can re-coat.
